N2  -   Major Caribbean exports have been faced by guaranteed markets. However,changing market conditions must prompt examination of export competitiveness. Successful strategies of export-led development by small open economies are based on attracting foreign investment and advertising services, liberalising commercial policies, controlling labour relations and government involvement in production at all levels. In the Caribbean, improvement in macro-economic and micro-economic efficiency are by in competitiveness. Efforts have began with help from CDB and preferential trading agreements. However, a successful strategy demands optimum productivity in all sectors, increased government involvement and health labour relations
