N2  -   The overall objective of the programme is to increase the level of awareness of the general public on the dangers, prevention and control of vectors and the role that individuals, families and communities can play in improving the status of health of the Dominican people.  Outlines the steps to be taken in launching, planning and managing the programme.  Publicity to be given by the Government Information Service, the New Chronicle, local radio and television. Discusses how the programme will be brought to primary and secondary schools and individual households through a cadre of voluntary workers.  Quarterly evaluation of the programme will examine styles of presentation and implementation exercises as well as problems relating to implementation
