520 _aThe Caribbean is increasingly vulnerable to impacts of global climate change including rising sea levels, intensified hurricane and changing weather patterns posing significant risk to its ecosystems, economies and communities. This project aims to formulate a comprehensive adaption strategy that addresses these challenges through a collaborative and participatory approach. By conducting thorough assessment of climate vulnerabilities and socioeconomic impacts, local stakeholders identify priorities and develop tailored solutions. Key component of the project includes enhancing coastal infrastructure resilience, implementing nature-based solutions, and fostering education and capacity building among communities and local government. This initiative seeks not only to enhance the resilience of the Caribbean nations but to support sustainable development, ensuring that communities are better equipped to navigate the challenges posed by climate change.
