This study provides information on the state of accreditation and evaluation systems within the English-speaking Caribbean. 2V examines the development of higher education in the region and traces the evolution of accreditation and evaluation policies. It also looks at legal framework supporting accreditation, articulation, equivalencies, validation and function of accrediting bodies within the region. The study presents a conceptual framework and key mechanisms and system involved in the institutionalization of accreditation and evaluation.
