Report of the special conference of ECLAC - Mexico April, 1987 - 53 p.

The special conference of ECLAC was held to discuss the economic recovery and development of member countries. It was attended by representatives of member countries of ECLAC and non-members. The main objectives were growth and economic efficiency, democratization and social equity. The contributions made by those member states looked at debt management and financing, development strategies, international trade, technological innovation, structural adjustment, regional co-operations and political integration.
