Tuvalu 1990 - UNCTAD Geneva May 1990 - 23 p. tbls.

Tuvalu's limited resource base makes the island very vulnerable to external economic influences. Per capital income fell by 15 percent during the first half of the decade. Efforts are being made to expand the contribution to national income in the areas of agriculture, fisheries, trade and tourism, but marketing has seriously hampered these efforts.
