It provides a status update on the programme strategies employed from the period of adoption (September 2004) through to June 2006 that addresses monitoring and evation, professional development, recognition of teacher qualifications, teacher mobility and flows and international recognition. Concludes on the current status and position of the CTRP and makes recommendations as to how the protocol may be strengthened in the interest of commonwealth teachers and the member countries in which they are employed.
