These 7 sectional analyses examine the performance of the Dominica Banana Industry in 1997. It reviewed firstly the performance of the Dominica economy and focused on the performance of the agricultural sector. Additionally, it examined the performance of the banana industry, the performance of the Dominica Banana Marketing Corporation (DBMC) reviewed Dominica's Government Policy and programme response in relation to the banana industry and agricultural and economic diversification and possible applications of STABEX to enhance the diversification process. The analysis also includes a brief progress of the industry in Dominica. |
