The Archibold Tropical Research Centre is a co-operative undertaking between Clemson University and a consortium of leading institutions. Its purpose is to provide an opportunity for field experiences in various areas and promote post secondary education in those fields. The Centre is situated on Dominica, an island of magnificent forest. Various facilities, including housing an elegant colonial style building, are provided. Programs proposed fall into the categories of education, training, research and public service. |
