Examines areas of achievement as well as non-achievement by the women of Dominica. Difficulty was experienced in evaluating women's participation in the area of labour. Recommendations made at the 1985 meeting of CARICOM Ministers responsible for the integration of women are listed. These included the formation of an explicit policy for promoting the integration of women in development, both at national and regional levels. |
