As a result of its major work, the Impact Justice team has assisted the CARICOM and OECS Secretaries in drafting policy documents and model legislation. It has also supported CARICOM Member States in drafting new laws or amending existing laws at the national level. Additionally, the team developed a model Legal Profession Act, which includes a code of ethics, enhanced disciplinary and accounting procedures, and provisions for continuing legal education for the legal profession. This manual is produced as a contribution to the first task of the legislative process drafting.
