The sustainable health agenda for the Americas 2018 - 2030: A call to action for health and well-being in the region represents the health sector's response to the commitments endorsed by PAHO member states in the 2030 agenda for sustainable development, together with unfinished work from the millennium development goals. It is operationalized through PAHO's strategic plans and strategies, as well as through sub regional and national health plans. The agenda is approved by the PAN American sanitary conference and commits countries to pursuing 11 goals and 60 targets that will be used to measure program towards these goals.
