Examines the three step training programme aimed at enhancing the delivery and management of environmental health. It utilizes the analyzed data through on-site interviews and focus group discussions to show the existence and the level of funding mechanism; physical planning; teaching and practical experience facilities; recognized/ accredited training institutions to deliver step 1 and the human resources available. It provides recommendations to stakeholders on taking steps to increase the number of students to receive step 1 and 2 as a means of address sustainability of the programme. It also includes the framework and course description of step 2.
